I am not 18, but I need a job. What options do I have? It seems like everyone requires you to be 18 or older before you can start working, mainly for insurance reasons.

You are mainly going to be stuck in the food industry. You can get jobs in fast food, or restaurant jobs cleaning dishes or tables. You could always get a newspaper route, but other than that, there's not much available.

You more than likely cannot be around any kind of big machinery because of OSHA and Child Labor laws. Also, you probably won't be trusted to run the front counter or anything since you are a bit young.
